AC/DC Quiets iTunes Boycott

                                   AC/DC Quiets iTunes Boycott

AC/DC has been against iTunes because they would rather have their fans  buy their whole album instead of just downloading single tracks. The band states  "Since iTunes came into existence, we've actually increased our back-catalog sales without being on site." Another reason why AC/DC hasn't been on iTunes is because their a band that started off with albums and they want to keep it that way. Kid Rock recently abandoned his iTunes boycott. Kid Rock did this for the same reason as AC/DC.

  1. This is really interesting and I've never thought about how iTunes could have an impact on artist's goals - like selling ALBUMS, instead of single tracks on iTunes.
