Interviewing Mrs. Miller

November 29th, on a Thursday afternoon, MaryAlice, known as Mrs.Miller was able to squeeze me in her time to do a quick interview of her about her job. Shes the current choir teacher of Wyoming High School. I was able to get the inside scoop on how rehearsals and getttin ready for the concert are going, what she liked most about being a choir teacher and much more. Down below are some questions I asked.

1. Q: When is the concert?

A: its a Holiday theme concert on Thursday 20th 7:00 at the Fine Arts center which is currently at Wyoming Middle School. The second perfomance is by honors choir which will be performing at the Gerald R. Ford Air Port.

2. Q: How are the rehearsals going?

A: "We have our good and bad days" Miller responded.

3. Q: What is the most difficult part about preparing for the concert?

A:  "Getting the student to memorize the songs", she also happended to mention its not just the words they have to remember but also the high and low notes they have to hit, being on the right pace with her and also smiling the whole time instead of looking bored up on stage.

4. Q: What song are you looking forward to doing?

A: The Little Drummer, Be joyful, ReJoice, Carol of the Bells, Joy to the World, a song by Bock and Handal and much more classical Christmas songs.

5. Q: What do you enjoy the most about preparing for the concert?

A: Mrs.Miller stated she likes hearing what her students can do, and the finish product after the perfomance so they can look back and go "Wow".
